From 18 to 30 August 2026, the Menaggio Exhibition Hall hosts ED Artist.
On 18 August, the opening becomes a participatory experience with “ART – THINK – SHARE”
From 18 to 30 August 2026, the Menaggio Exhibition Hall comes alive with colour through POP LAND – 2nd edition, the new exhibition project curated by Tablinum Cultural Management, featuring ED Artist, a French artist known for an immediate, energetic and deeply contemporary visual language.
Bright colours, layered surfaces, graphic signs, words and images drawn from the collective imagination build a visual universe where Pop Art, street art and urban culture meet. ED’s works arise from an only apparently instinctive creative process: behind the chromatic explosion lies a careful exploration of material, pictorial ground and the layering of visual languages.
Born in 1975 in the south of Paris and trained at the Institut Saint-Luc in Tournai, Belgium, ED comes from a background in graphic design and communication. After a long professional career as a graphic designer and the founding of her own communication agency, she decided in 2016 to devote herself fully to painting.
Her work brings together influences from Pop Art and graffiti culture: from Andy Warhol and Roy Lichtenstein to Jean-Michel Basquiat, JonOne and Monsieur Chat. However, ED reinterprets these references through a personal visual language, built mainly with acrylics and characterised by highly textured backgrounds, which have become one of the distinctive features of her practice.
POP LAND: a territory to enter
The title POP LAND suggests precisely the idea of entering another territory: a space made of familiar images, colour, irony, provocation and expressive freedom.
The Menaggio exhibition aims to go beyond the idea of the artwork as a distant, untouchable object. The public is invited to approach the creative process, to question the meaning of images, and to experience art as an immediate encounter.
It is from this intention that the opening event on 18 August was conceived, not only as the inauguration of the exhibition, but as a true collective experience.
18 August: ART – THINK – SHARE

From “I” to “We”
The artwork thus becomes something that happens.
An initially open surface is progressively transformed through the encounter between the artist and the public. Each person leaves something of themselves, while at the same time accepting that their gesture may be joined, crossed or transformed by others.
This is the core of ART – THINK – SHARE: reminding us that art does not have to be only observed. It can become a space of relationship, dialogue and participation.
This experience is particularly meaningful in a place like Menaggio, where during the summer residents, Italian visitors and people from many different countries meet. For one evening, languages, ages and backgrounds will converge on the same canvas.
The result will therefore not only be a work created together with ED Artist, but the visual memory of a shared moment on Lake Como.

An invitation to leave your mark
With POP LAND – 2nd edition, Tablinum continues its exploration of increasingly open and participatory ways of experiencing contemporary art.
We want the exhibition to be a living space: a place to enter, pause, observe, discuss and, this time, also create.
For this reason, tomorrow evening’s invitation is very simple:
come, choose your mark and leave your trace.
By the end of the evening, that trace will no longer be only yours. It will have become part of something created together.
